A Joe Gibbs Racing plane collided with a parked plane from Stewart-Haas Racing at Concord Regional Airport on Sunday night as the NASCAR teams were returning to the Charlotte area after Sunday’s Crown Royal 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, according to the Haas team.
A spokesman for Stewart-Haas Racing said the team’s empty, parked plane was hit by a Joe Gibbs Racing plane as it was parking. The plane’s wing clipped the tail of the parked SHR plane. No one was hurt, the spokesman said.(Charlotte Observer)
